A correction and an update from Season 4: Kill Site

The other day, we got a message from someone with close ties to the sheriff’s office in Hood County, Texas, where the body of Christopher Whiteley was found in December 2020. Of course, Christopher’s death (and the notion that he was attacked by a mountain lion) were the subjects of Season 4 of the podcast, Kill Site.
This person had a lot of interesting things to say about the case. They also said we got one important detail very wrong about whether sheriff’s personnel left Christopher’s body in the woods on the night they found him.
